Family Skype is blogging GOLD. No, seriously.
First of all, for as much as this might look like I’m poking a little fun at my family, you have to know a couple of things:
- I love them DEARLY. They are amazing, loving, brilliant and wonderful people. I miss them daily. I will one day have a summer home (no joke) in Minnesota because I want to be close to my family. I LOVE these people.
- I am cut from the same cloth. Like, the exact same. So, when I show you these pictures of my family being utterly ridiculous and goofy – please know that I am equally capable of being the exact same level of ridiculous and goofy (and my sister’s probably going to post HER version of this Skype call on her blog anyway, so then you’ll really see).
All that being said, this is what Walker-Grabow (+ Chris) family Skype looks like:
First, there are pictures of the new baby.
BABY! Natalie! Niece! YAY!
Then, we share news, wish Mama Walker happy birthday (HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MA!), and then… make funny faces at each other. My mom and sister are both teachers*, can’t you tell?
And then, well, then we all figured out how to take screen shots, so we kept taking pictures of each other making faces at each other. And smiling. And then… making faces.
I love my family. (And I warned you guys I’d be blogging this.)
By the way, Portland friends, Ma and Pops Walker are coming to PDX next weekend, so maybe – if you’re lucky – you’ll get to meet them soon!
*Mom’s worked in daycare with little babies and toddlers for over 20 years. Miranda has been teaching kindergarten, first or second grade for 6 years. These are teacher people.
